The most rewarding part of wedding photography for me is making a difference. I know you would usually expect a photographer to say that it’s ‘capturing beautiful moments’, but I feel that is quite qliche. The whole day is a beautiful moment and I like to put in the extra time and effort to make sure that you are happy with the results, This is why I take a slightly different approach to how your photographs are shared with you…

Why am I different?

I want to see that smile fill your face as you see your photographs beautifully presented. To share the moments captured with you and make sure you are happy with the results. I offer full day and half day coverage and when the images are ready, we will sit down together at a location of your choice for a ‘viewing’ which is where we go through your collection of precious memories. This for me makes the wedding, its the icing on the cake (excuse the pun). What a lot of photographers miss when they send a USB alone is the joy and happiness in the couple when they look through the memories captured. From funny dance floor moves to intimate moments shared but missed, I want to make you laugh or cry (with happiness of course!). And if any of the final edits are not what you wanted then I offer a free re-edit service, this could be converting images from black and white to colour or approaching images result with a different style if there are any you would like me to re-do.

It’s about personality…

I think choosing the right photographer for you boils down to whether or not your personalities gel. If I was looking for someone to shoot my wedding I would like to feel at ease in their company and be able to relax on my special day. A wedding is a very intimate and memorable day and I think the best recipe for capturing beautiful photographs is when the couple is comfortable and content. We can meet over the consultation and discuss what photography approach works for you, whether that’s documentary where I will hide in the background and snap away as the day unfolds or if you’d prefer directed photographs where you have a specific list you’d like me to work to. My personality is very relaxed and passive, I can direct people if required and have a considerate and sensitive approach to taking photographs. I always consider a persons confidence and comfort in front of the camera. Couples book wedding photographers, however that doesn’t always mean they like having their photograph taken. I am here to help make that process a little bit easier and fun so it’s one less thing to worry about on the day.

Wedding Photography Packages:

Below are the two Wedding packages I offer, this is the price for one photographer for either a half day or full day. Below are some additional extras which we can discuss in person at your viewing.

Amethyst Package: £900

• A consultation either an in person meet or a video call to discuss the day

• Half day coverage which includes 5 hours of coverage. This can be the first half of the day or the second half, times can vary depending on your needs.

• Processing and production is around 4 weeks for your images to be completed

• A USB of your images

• A viewing session at a location of your choice

• Additional cost for travel further than 1 hour radius from Chepstow

• Terms and conditions apply

Opal Package: £1300

• A consultation either an in person meet or a video call to discuss the day

• An engagement photoshoot at a location of your choice (within 1 hour of Chepstow)

• Full day coverage which includes around 10 hours of coverage. This usually covers getting ready shots up until the first dance.

• Processing and production is around 4 weeks for your images to be completed

• A USB of your images

• A viewing session at a location of your choice

• Additional cost for travel further than 1 hour radius from Chepstow

• Terms and conditions apply

Additional extras:

For me, I like see and feel photo albums. I find digital images are often left in a box and never plugged in again after being sent to the couple. Most people view their online gallery and then it’s forgotten about. The day to day takes over and more memories are created as time goes by. There is nothing more timeless than sharing your images with family and friends in an album you can hold and look through. I also feel framed pictures are just as important, fill your home with beautiful memories of your special day. These are tangible items which can be cherished and loved for generations to come.
