Ivy Macro Photography from my garden…

Every year I have told myself I will take the time out to watch nature and capture the change of the season. Every year passes, and I have found myself too busy or too wrapped up in work to really stop and 'see' it. Since I left my policing career last year, I've finally slowed down, baring witness to the change of the season. Slowing down, enjoying the time to really look and monitor change from a photographic perspective. The daffodils are blooming, the bluebells are peeping through, an explosion of life and colour is about to erupt, and I can't wait to see it properly for the first time

In anticipation for the nature boom I have been looking closely around my garden, the gnarly shapes the skeleton leaves from last autumn. Pondering a subject to capture I happened across some Ivy vines. Ivy is a spectacular plant and it has some interesting uses.

If you are keen to learn more join me on the 30th March for my next Youtube upload at 5pm.

Youtube Video Release - Early Spring Photography

Spring is around the corner…

Early spring is here! I am so excited to share my next video with you all. Here is a sneaky preview, I have taken a slow approach to my photography whilst healing a knee injury. I have been eager to film but have had to force myself to rest.

Something magical has been born out of this in that I have decided to slow down and observe what is around me. Locations which are close to home, such as local green spaces and even my garden!

During this weekend video I explore the sound of the snowdrop and play around with some multiple exposures from my garden. We then make some wholesome tea from the composition ingredients!

Join me this Sunday for a slow approach to photography which is scheduled at 5pm. See you there!
